Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PayTime (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by PayTime (“we”, “us”).
2. Description of Service
PayTime connects to your accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero) and sends automated email reminders for overdue invoices on your behalf. Emails are sent from our infrastructure but appear under your business name.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your business to these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to send spam or harassing messages.
- Impersonate another business or individual.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or generate excessive bounce rates / spam complaints.
5. Billing & Subscriptions
- Free tier — 3 invoices per month, no credit card required.
- Pro plan — $99/month or $948/year ($79/month), billed via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge.
6. Accounting Data
When you connect your accounting software, you authorize us to read invoice and customer contact data. We use this data solely to provide the Service. You can disconnect at any time from your PayTime settings or your accounting software's app management page.
7. Email Delivery
We make reasonable efforts to deliver reminder emails but cannot guarantee delivery. Factors outside our control (spam filters, invalid addresses, recipient server issues) may prevent delivery. We are not liable for non-delivery of reminders.
8. Limitation of Liability
PayTime is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for any damages, lost revenue, or business interruption resulting from the use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate your account for violations of these terms with 30 days notice, or immediately for serious violations. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
