Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

PayTime (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the PayTime service at app.paytime.today. We help small businesses automate overdue invoice reminders by connecting to their accounting software.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — email address and name when you sign up.
  • Accounting data — invoice numbers, amounts, due dates, and customer contact details synced from QuickBooks Online or Xero via OAuth. We access only the data necessary to send reminders.
  • Payment data — processed by Stripe. We never store credit card numbers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, feature usage, and performance metrics via Cloudflare Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Sync overdue invoices and send reminders on your behalf.
  • Process payments for your subscription.
  • Send transactional emails (login codes, receipts).
  • Improve the product and fix bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Intuit / QuickBooks — accounting data sync (OAuth 2.0).
  • Xero — accounting data sync (OAuth 2.0).
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — transactional and reminder email delivery.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and analytics.
  • Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL).

Each service processes data under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and invoice data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove all personal data and invoice records within 30 days. Anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted. We follow industry-standard security practices including regular dependency audits.

7. Your Rights

  • Access & export — request a copy of your data at any time.
  • Deletion — delete your account and all associated data.
  • Disconnect — revoke QuickBooks/Xero access from your PayTime settings or directly from your accounting software.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
